Mumbai is facing heavy rainfall and floods, causing severe waterlogging in several areas in the city. Amid the chaos, a man is going viral for his carefree nature as he dances in the middle of a flooded road. The video is going viral on social media, spreading smiles and laughter. 

The viral clip shows a man, dripping wet, grooving on a waterlogged street before taking a dive in the floodwaters like it’s a stream or a pool.

The video was shared with the caption, ‘Entertainment never stops in Mumbai. The show must go on!’ Reportedly, it is filmed in Mumbra.

Social Media Reactions

The video went viral soon after it was shared online, with netizens praising the spirit of the man. One person writes, This is peak Indian resilience.” Another said, “Indian adaptability isn’t a skill, it’s survival. Turning a flooded road into a viral reel performance is not just talent, it’s also a sad acceptance of infrastructure failure.”

Someone shared that they feel nostalgic about the time they first saw Rajkot rains, “This reminds me of observing my first rains in Rajkot during my posting there in 2002–2003. Just as the roads started overflowing with water, the entire city was out of their homes, wading through water and enjoying as if there was no tomorrow!”

Another user stated, “Indians can find entertainment anywhere.”

Heavy Rains Across City

Meanwhile, Mumbai has been facing relentless rainfall with IMD issuing a red alert for the city. Schools, colleges, and government offices have been shut down in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Ratnagiri. Officials have been advised to work from home.

Flash floods and severe waterlogging have taken over Maharashtra, which has halted normal life. Although emergency teams are working to unclog drains constantly, more severe rains are expected through the week.
