Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore, has quietly released 17 unreleased songs on her official website—without any prior announcement or promotional buzz. The only hint fans received was a cryptic code shared through her Good Dye Young hair dye brand, as reported by Billboard.
Fans Discover Hidden Musical Gems
These newly released tracks come with intriguing titles such as “Disappearing Man,” “Dream Girl In Shibuya,” and “Zissou.” One track in particular, titled “Discovery Channel,” includes a clever nod to Bloodhound Gang’s 1999 hit “The Bad Touch,” as it quotes a line from the song’s playful chorus.
Is a New Album on the Horizon?
According to Variety, this sudden song drop has sparked speculation about whether a full album is secretly in the works or if these are simply a collection of standalone songs. The mystery has only fueled fan interest, especially after Williams recently collaborated with Moses Sumney on the track “I Like It I Like It.”
Over the years, Hayley has established herself as an independent artist, previously releasing two deeply personal solo albums and three EPs that showcased her creative range.
Release Coincides with Paramore’s 20-Year Celebration
This surprise song dump comes shortly after Paramore released a deluxe digital version of their debut album “All We Know Is Falling,” marking its 20th anniversary. A key feature of this re-release is the digital debut of The Summer Tic EP, which had previously been available only on CD. Longtime fans saw this as a nostalgic tribute to Paramore’s beginnings.
A New Chapter for Paramore
The timing of this release is also significant. In December, Paramore officially ended their longtime partnership with Atlantic Records and have since entered a new phase of independence. The band is reportedly working on fresh material, suggesting that more exciting developments may be on the way.
