Tanya Mittal, Bigg Boss 19 contestant is quite in news particularly this year because her remarks on the Pahalgam terror attack ignited widespread criticism. In a video, which she recently deleted, Tanya said, “terrorism doesn’t have a religion.” Although her statement brought a lot of backlash on social media, Tanya asserts that nothing gave her a shake.
She said in an interview that rather than answer back with negativity, she wanted to concentrate on her work. “When goodness has to prove itself, it means that evil has already won,” she remarked, and then chose silence and self-assurance instead of confrontation.

Things started back in April when a horrifying incident of terrorism broke out in Pahalgam, South Kashmir and 26 tourists became casualties under gunfire. With all this happening some speculation arose regarding the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and her claims seemed to say that she was officially a part of it and however, the department came up with the prompt clarifications that said Tanya was not associated with them in any official capacity. The online hatred that followed Tanya’s statements did not reduce with this elaboration.
Unfazed and Moving Forward
Tanya Mittal says, “I am inspired to focus on my works and carry on with my commitments as before.” She clarified further that all her work goes on, and hence such incidents do not break her journey. “Opinion of someone cannot erase months of effort,” she added, illustrating that her projects have now expanded into other states as well.
