Govindganj Bihar Election Result 2020

In the 2020 Bihar Assembly election, Sunil Mani Tiwari from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the Govindganj seat. He secured 65,716 votes, which was 43.14% of the total votes. Brajesh Kumar Pandey from the Indian National Congress (INC) finished second with 37,936 votes and 24.9%, showing a drop of 9.25% from the previous election. Raju Tiwari of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) came third with 31,461 votes, accounting for 20.65%, a sharp decline of 33.89%. Among the other candidates, Sarvesh Kumar Tiwari, an Independent, received 3,314 votes (2.18%), while Viswanath Prasad of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) got 3,267 votes (2.14%), marking a slight rise of 0.4%.
