A priest from England has gone viral on social media, drawing hundreds of new visitors to the church. Father Jordan joined the St. Edward the Confessor Church in Romford and has been nicknamed the ‘hot priest’ on the internet after his pictures were spread on social media.

His charm and personality have made him a magnet for visitors to attend the church. He became an overnight sensation and TikTok favourite. Users across social media have poured comments, from being flirty to playful.

A user said, “Some call him Father, some call him daddy.” Another added, “Now I will have to start going to the church.”  A third remarked, “Atheism is coming out of my body.” One person said, “Romford has now become the most religious area of England.” Some women left confession-style comments such as “Forgive me Father for I have sinned.”

Father Jordan suddenly got fame as he works to attract younger generations to the church. As per the New York Post, around 1,000 spiritual influencers were invited to Rome to inspire youth.

While several people welcome the modern appeal, others firmly believe that calling a priest ‘hot’ undermines the seriousness of faith. Experts say that his charm may bring more visitors to the church, but the question of faith and spirituality remains deeply rooted in the education and belief.
