Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again lent his voice to former U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize with this came on the heels of a newfound peace agreement between Israel and Hamas a brokered treaty long with standing among the world’s countries.
Netanyahu so posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating simply and in direct terms, “Give @realDonaldTrump the Nobel Peace Prize he deserves it!” The post included an otherwise striking AI-generated image of Netanyahu handing Trump the acclaimed medal and surrounded by people waving Israeli flags.

Historic Deal-Fueled Regional Optimism
The pronouncement followed a few hours later by Trump revealing that Israel and Hamas were at last agreed on the first phase of a U.S. brokered peace plan. According to him, the initial measures include putative release of all hostages and gradual withdrawal of Israeli soldiers to a mutually agreed line. Trump called it the great day for the Arab and Muslim world thanking Qatar, Egypt and Turkey for their mediation efforts toward making the agreement a reality.

Ceasefire & Agenda Confirmed by Israel
Israeli government spokesperson Shosh Bedrosian confirmed that the last version of this deal was signed earlier today in Egypt. She noted that the ceasefire would come into effect within the next 24 hours upon the green light from Israel’s security cabinet. Following that comes a 72-hour window during which all hostages will be released including those who perished and she also described a deeply personal phone call between Netanyahu and Trump. They acknowledged each other’s achievements in what he termed a historic achievement.
Renewed Longstanding Endorsement
This is not the first time Netanyahu has proposed Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize he did so last year at the White House where the prime minister presented him with an official copy of the nomination letter, citing his efforts in achieving peace across regions. Trump, who was completely caught off guard, expressed appreciation for what he regarded as very meaningful but with the Gaza peace plan now going into effect it is intended with this renewed endorsement from Netanyahu to underscore the international sway of Trump in times of very serious and high-stakes diplomacy.
