Telugu superstar Nagarjuna took time on Wednesday, June 26, to meet a specially-abled fan who had been pushed by his bodyguards earlier. The touching encounter, captured on video, shows Nagarjuna hugging the fan and assuring him that he was not at fault. The video quickly gained traction and is widely shared on social media.
Nagarjuna was in Mumbai filming for his upcoming movie ‘Kubera.’ Upon his arrival at the Mumbai airport on June 26, he was greeted by the fan as soon as he stepped out of his car. Demonstrating his characteristic warmth, Nagarjuna hugged the fan and posed for several photos, repeating that the incident was not the fan’s fault.
This interaction follows an earlier incident on June 23 when one of Nagarjuna’s bodyguards roughly handled a fan attempting to take a picture with the actor. Nagarjuna, along with Dhanush and his sons, had just arrived in Mumbai for ‘Kubera’ when the incident occurred.
After the video of the incident went viral, Nagarjuna issued a public apology, expressing his regret and committing to ensure such events would not happen again.
Currently, he is filming ‘Kubera’ with co-stars Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna, under the direction of Sekhar Kammula. The film’s first-look poster, released earlier this month, has already generated buzz. The soundtrack for ‘Kubera’ is being composed by the acclaimed Devi Sri Prasad.
