Social media platforms continue to offer a space for people to showcase their talents, from dancing to strength challenges, and gain viral fame. A recent viral video, however, has captured attention for all the wrong reasons, as a man attempted to lift a 5-ton tractor, injuring himself in the process.
The Risky Stunt: Lifting a Tractor
The video, shared by the Instagram account @deathp0sitive, shows a man attempting a bold feat—lifting a tractor weighing over 5 tons. In the short clip, the man is seen sitting on a chair held steady by another individual for support. His legs are positioned inside the rim of the tractor’s wheel as he tries to lift the vehicle. While the man successfully manages to lift the tractor, his form quickly falters. Failing to keep his knees bent, his legs unnaturally buckle backward in a disturbing manner, resulting in what appears to be a serious injury. The video cuts off as his friends rush to assist him.

Netizens React to the Shocking Incident
The viral clip, which has amassed over 21.7 million views and 375,000 likes, sparked a flood of reactions from concerned viewers. Many shared their thoughts on the dangerous attempt and offered advice on proper form. One user commented, “That’s why you shouldn’t lock your knees during leg presses.” Another pointed out, “Funny part is the other dude ran over there to lift the tractor back up, not slide the guy backwards!” A third chimed in, “Bro would have been fine if he knew how to properly do a leg press,” while another grimly noted, “He will never walk right again.”
Previous Incidents of Dangerous Stunts
This video is not the first of its kind to go viral. A similar incident from 2017 resurfaced when a man attempted a heavy leg press at a gym. As he pushed a significant amount of weight, his leg bent unnaturally, but fortunately, a safety lock prevented further injury. That video garnered over 2 million views and also sparked conversations about the risks of improper form during strength exercises.
The latest viral clip serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of attempting stunts without proper training and technique, especially when dealing with heavy objects or extreme challenges.
