A shocking incident from Bihar has captured national attention, illustrating how political differences can bitterly divide even the closest relationships.
According to reports, a man allegedly threw his wife out of their house simply because she chose to vote for the BJP while he had insisted she cast her vote for RJD in the recent elections.
The incident had occurred shortly after the woman cast her vote and came home. A heated argument started between the couple over their political choices.
The husband, who was an avid supporter of the RJD, grew angry upon learning his wife secretly voted for its rival BJP party.

The spat quickly escalated from a verbal altercation into a serious domestic issue. The husband accused his wife of betrayal, citing that she had disrespected his political allegiance and the family’s so-called loyalty to the RJD.
In a serious reaction, he is said to have thrown her out of their house, refusing to let her in. She was left stranded, eventually having to seek shelter with her relatives and reporting the matter to the local police.

Police Investigation Underway in the Case

The police are trying to mediate the situation, informing that every individual, including a wife, has the constitutional right to vote in secrecy and independently according to her choice.
