Sooraj Barjatya, the director of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, is returning with a new concept, Uunchai.
The movie features many veteran actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, and Sarika. The movie revolves around summiting the tallest peak, Mount Everest. The youngest of them all, Parineeti Chopra, portrays a climbing instructor who is ready to guide this group of “oldies” to the top of the tallest peak, where they can “turn into ice” in a matter of minutes.
With so many veterans converging in one frame, a significant effort in itself, the 2 minute, 50 second-long teaser appears to be a breath of fresh air. The trailer shows four friends—Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa—who are debating the concept of summiting Mount Everest when Danny passes away. The three friends choose to carry out Danny’s wish by submerging his ashes at the summit of Mount Everest. In order to prepare them for their task, Parineeti joins the team. Eventually, with the help of Neena and Sarika, they successfully complete it. The trailer concludes with the song “Yeh Jeevan Hai” by Kishore Kumar playing in the background, showing them achieving their goal.
On November 11, Uunchai, the 60th movie produced by Sooraj Barjatya’s Rajshri Productions, will hit the theatres. Sunil Gandhi wrote the script, while Sooraj Barjatya, Mahaveer Jain, and Natasha Malpani Oswal produced it.
