Aritra Sarkar is an author and a thought leader using storytelling as a powerful medium to bring about a social change through his books, writing and repertoires.
Aritra’s debut novel, Goliath of Shenzhen (2016), is a groundbreaking work—told in both visual and prose formats—garnering international acclaim for its powerful message against authoritarianism. In 2018, he expanded his storytelling repertoire with the audio drama Stilettos and Dentistry, designed to motivate listeners to overcome funding challenges.
His short stories have appeared in esteemed literary magazines and anthologies. Sarkar is a founding member of the Kolkata-based spiritual foundation Oneness.
Before fully dedicating himself to literature and spiritual development, Aritra was with The Wall Street Journal and then with the ABP group in Kolkata for several years. He then founded MeVero, the world’s first passion-based social networking platform.
