Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met with Lieutenant General Vladimir Kubyshko, Deputy Interior Minister of the Russian Federation, in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, they discussed various topics of mutual interest, with a focus on enhancing cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the areas of police and security work. The meeting was also attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Engineer Hussein Al Harithi, Director-General of Smart Services and Digital Security at the Ministry, as well as other officers and members of the Russian delegation.

As part of their visit, the Russian delegation toured the Security Support Operations Room and the Civil Defense Academy, where they were introduced to the best practices in UAE police work, which adhere to the highest international standards. They also explored avenues for increased cooperation, focusing on training, development, and the creation of specialized programs to enhance and empower police personnel.
