T20 World Cup 2024: See PM Modi’s Adorable Picture With Jasprit Bumrah’s Son

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a special interaction with the Indian cricket team at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi on July 4th. India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah shared glimpses from the meeting on his social media. Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan, who was the broadcaster for the ICC during the T20 World Cup 2024, was also present. In a heartwarming gesture, PM Modi posed alongside Bumrah, Sanjana, and their son Angad Bumrah, even holding the little boy playfully for a photograph.

Other Indian players, including Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Yuzvendra Chahal, also shared posts after the interaction. Virat Kohli expressed that it was a great honour to meet the Prime Minister and thanked him for the invitation. Kohli posted a photo of himself shaking hands with PM Modi during the breakfast session. PM Modi also shared a hug with Rishabh Pant for the cameras. A group photo included PM Modi with the entire Indian contingent, where captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid were seen holding the trophy.

Yuzvendra Chahal thanked PM Modi for his encouraging words to the team. PM Modi hosted the World Champions for breakfast as they landed in Delhi early on July 4th. According to India Today, PM Modi urged the team to continue their winning streak, expressing confidence that their T20 World Cup triumph in Barbados would motivate them to excel in future tournaments. In a shared video, PM Modi and the Indian cricket team players were seen sharing laughs and reminiscing about their World Cup campaign.
