Student Suicide Shock: Kota’s Alarming  Trend Persists

The series of suicides among coaching students in Kota shows no signs of stopping. In the past eight months, 23 students have already ended their lives.
Yesterday, a fresh incident came to light where a student from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, took his own life by jumping from the sixth floor of an exam centre. The deceased student had come to the exam centre to take an exam, and after the exam ended, he jumped from the sixth floor. There are also two CCTV videos of this incident. In one of the videos, the coaching student was seen coming out of the exam centre after completing the exam, and then he climbed up to the upper floor and took a fatal leap.
DSP Dharmaveer explained that the deceased student, Aavishkar, had rented a room in Kota’s Talwandi area, and was living with his grandparents. He was preparing for the NEET exam at Allen Coaching Institute. Additionally, he was in the 12th grade and was taking exams for that as well.
The police immediately rushed Aavishkar to the MBBS Hospital in Kota, but the doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The Science Nagar police station in Kota is investigating the entire case. The police have informed the family of the deceased student about the suicide, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
As of now, the reasons behind this suicide have not been revealed, and the police are conducting a thorough investigation from every angle. The alarming number of student suicides in Kota’s coaching institutes is a matter of grave concern and demands urgent attention from authorities.
