Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that President Droupadi Murmu is set to begin her visit to Odisha. During her visit, the President will lay the foundation stone for the Central Government’s Eklavya School and embark on a visit to her native village. Additionally, she will inaugurate various developmental projects in the state.
President Murmu will attend the first session of the 36th Annual Conference and Literary Festival of the All India Santali Writers’ Association in Baripada on the first day of her visit. The next day, she will open a skill training facility in Pahadpur village, as well as visit Badampahar Railway Station, where she will light off three new trains and officially open the Rairangpur Postal Division. President Murmu will also lay the groundwork for the renovation of Badampahar Railway Station.
Later on the same day, she will attend the 15th annual convocation of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology in Burla.
President Murmu will begin the National Education Campaign, New Education for New India, at Sambalpur on November 22. After that, she will go to Puttaparthi to attend the 42nd convocation of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
The President’s visit to Odisha and Andhra Pradesh is scheduled from November 20 to 22, encompassing various events and initiatives aimed at promoting education and development in the region.
