Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United States from September 21 to 23, 2024, with a focus on participating in the Quad Leaders’ Summit and engaging in several key meetings. The visit begins in Wilmington, Delaware, for the fourth Quad Summit, hosted by President Joe Biden. Leaders from India, the United States, Japan, and Australia will review progress and set the agenda for the Indo-Pacific region, discussing issues like regional security, technology collaboration, and climate change.
On September 22, the Prime Minister will be in New York, where he will address the Indian diaspora at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. With a seating capacity of 15,000, this event highlights the strong connection between India and its diaspora, which is crucial for fostering US-India relations. There is significant interest among the Indian-American community, with over 24,000 people registered to attend. This gathering, titled “Modi & US Progress Together,” aims to reinforce bilateral ties.
The same day, PM Modi will also meet with American business leaders to strengthen economic ties and attract investments in sectors like technology, energy, and manufacturing. His engagements will include bilateral meetings with global leaders to discuss mutual interests.
On September 23, he will address the “Summit of the Future” at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, emphasizing India’s role in global governance, digital transformation, and sustainable development. The summit is expected to attract several global leaders and focus on multilateral solutions for a better tomorrow.
