He emphasized that since the Ambanis are spending their own money, they should be free to enjoy their wealth as they please. He urged those criticizing the event to instead focus on their own aspirations for financial success, writing, “One thing I am unable to understand is – who you are to criticise the wedding of Ambanis.”

The high-profile wedding took place in Mumbai from July 12-14 and was part of a series of extravagant events. The celebrations included pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar and a European cruise with high-profile entertainment. Naumaan’s comments come in response to remarks from Pakistani actor Arsalan Naseer, who humorously criticized the duration of the wedding festivities.

Naumaan’s defense of the Ambanis extends beyond mere support; he argues that critics should either ignore the event or pray for their own wealth to enjoy such grand celebrations. He added, “Khushi unki, shadi unki, paisa unka, enjoyment unki…why are you so concerned?” His remarks highlight a broader debate about wealth and the public’s reaction to displays of affluence.
