On Sunday, three individuals were stabbed aboard a train in the Japanese city of Osaka. According to local authorities, the male culprit was detained on the spot, according to Japan’s Kyodo News.
A Rinku-Town Station employee made an emergency contact to police to report the stabbing event.
According to Kyodo News, the incident occurred as the train was moving. The three injured individuals have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
A man passenger in his twenties, another in his seventies, and a male train conductor in his twenties were among those hurt. Authorities claim that none of them have suffered life-threatening injuries.
The man was arrested on the spot by police on accusations of attempted murder. Kazuya Shimizu, the individual apprehended, has been recognised. According to Kyodo News, the 37-year-old guy later acknowledged to stabbing the victims.
