New Delhi: There is good news for  Sai Baba devotees. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will flag off the Pune-Sainagar Shirdi Daily Express from Pune Railway Station on June 17th at 3:30 PM.

This will be the first direct train service between Pune and Shirdi, a service that devotees have been waiting for. With the launch of the new train, travelers traveling to visit Sai Baba will now have easy, safe, and affordable travel options.

Pune, a major hub of education, IT, and the automobile industry, will now be directly connected to Shirdi. Shirdi, located in Ahilyanagar district, is one of the most prominent religious destinations in the country, attracting millions of devotees each year to visit Sai Baba.

This train will be especially convenient for senior citizens, families, and group pilgrims.  Additionally, residents of Ahilyanagar and Shirdi will have easier access to Pune’s educational and healthcare services.

The train will stop at major stations such as Daund Cord Cabin, Shrigonda, Ahilyanagar, Rahuri, and Belapur. This will also provide better rail connectivity to local farmers, students, businessmen, and working people.

The Railways says the new service will boost religious tourism, benefit local businesses, and boost the region’s economy.
