Chandrababu Naidu has emerged as the biggest hero of today’s results, sweeping the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections and playing a crucial role as the kingmaker in the NDA government formation at the Centre.
However, back in 2021, the former Andhra Pradesh chief minister broke down at a press conference, accusing YSR Congress MLAs of making inappropriate and personal comments about his wife. Naidu expressed his anguish, shedding tears over the alleged remarks made by the ruling party members.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief stated that the YSR Congress MLAs had crossed a line by targeting his wife, Bhuvaneswari, during a recent assembly session. “For the last two-and-a-half years, I have borne the insults and remained calm. Today, they targeted even my wife. They have attacked my wife, Bhuvaneswari. I am always an optimistic man and very positive in life, but they are crossing the limits,” Naidu said, his voice choked with emotion.
Naidu further mentioned that he had never faced such personal attacks in his 40-year-long political career. He questioned the motives of the YSR Congress Party behind the alleged remarks and demanded an apology from the ruling party.
