Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently introduced the ‘AgrDoot Portal,’ a new platform designed to streamline government messaging through a unified system. Developed by the Department of Public Relations, this portal aims to enhance convenience for citizens and speed up information dissemination.
At the launch event, CM Yadav demonstrated the portal by sending an inaugural message to the Ladli Behnas from the Mantralaya. The message informed them of an additional Rs 250 being given as a ‘Shagun’ for Raksha Bandhan on August 1, in addition to the existing Rs 1250 monthly support under the ‘Ladli Behna Yojana.’
According to an official statement, “The AgrDoot Portal, created by the Madhya Pradesh Government’s Department of Public Relations, is part of the ‘Information is Power’ initiative. This cutting-edge portal enables message delivery to target groups with just one click. After a thorough three-tier review process, information will be shared via WhatsApp, allowing simultaneous transmission of multimedia content such as graphics, text, links, and videos.”
The AgrDoot Portal marks a significant advancement in information dissemination, offering a quick and targeted method to reach citizens. It features comprehensive communication tools, a detailed database, WhatsApp integration, single-click functionality, and a user-friendly interface, all supported by a rigorous approval process. These features are expected to enhance governance and transparency in Madhya Pradesh.
Additionally, the portal allows for segmentation of citizens based on various criteria, including age, gender, caste, religion, occupation, disability, district, local body, or area, enabling tailored communication.
