In a major development in Prajwal Revanna’s obscene video scene, the Karnataka government sources have recently disclosed, that the Ministry of External Affairs is processing the cancellation of JD(S)MP, Prajwal Revanna’s diplomatic passport.

Further, the ministry has also confirmed, it has indeed received a letter from Karnataka’s government for diplomatic passport cancellation. Currently, the request is being processed.

What Happens If MEA Cancels Diplomatic Passport

Moreover, if ministry of External affairs indeed cancels Prajwal’s diplomatic Passport, it will be practically impossible for revanna to stay in a foreign country and would be forced to return.

This incident comes around the time, when congress has recently declared in a letter, that it is indeed ‘shameful’ that revanna has fled to Germany using his diplomatic passport during the ongoing Lok Sabha election.

Later, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, also alleged in his letter, that JDS MP has abused his diplomatic privileges to flee the country and it’s a matter of grave concern, that he’s still absconding.

In addition, he also expressed his unhappiness over the fact, that CM’s previous letter was not acted upon, “despite the gravity of the situation.”

However, earlier this month, the spokesperson of MEA Randhir Jaiswal has recently revealed, that revanna didn’t sought political clearance for the trip.

“No political clearance was either sought from or issued by MEA in respect of the travel of the said MP to Germany.” said MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.
