Our favorite K-pop idol group BTS’ member Jimin is making headlines as the idol has achieved a great milestone.

For those unversed, the singer has now 1 billion Spotify streams across all credits, making him the fastest K-Pop solo artist to achieve this feat. He has accomplished this milestone in just 393 days, shattering the previous record of 409 days.

Notably, 70% of the streams that contributed to 1 billion streams came in the last 67 days alone, with the release of his solo album FACE and participation in the ‘Fast X’ soundtrack Angel Pt.1, demonstrating his power as a solo artist!

As per the ‘charts data,’ which delivers real-time news from the worldwide music market, Jimin set the Spotify record for the most streaming by a K-pop solo artist in a single year.

Meanwhile, the most elevated yearly record set by a K-pop solo vocalist was 757 million streams in 2022, and Jimin recorded 759 million as of 20 May, towering aloft with flowing for only 5 months this year.

Specifically, while Jimin’s most memorable independent collection ‘FACE’ continues to set records, as of May 20, the most recent record was abbreviated by the majority, 58 days after its release, the most limited time frame among all K-pop solo artist albums to reach 500 million. It made Spotify’s streaming history and broke through.
