International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Nita Ambani celebrated shooter Sarabjot Singh following his standout performance alongside Manu Bhaker, which earned India its second bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. The duo secured the bronze by defeating South Korea’s Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin with a score of 16-10 in the play-off match. Both athletes consistently scored 10s throughout the series, contributing to their victory.

At the inaugural India House at the Olympics, Nita Ambani, CEO and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, honored Sarabjot and other athletes from various sports disciplines. During the event, she expressed her pride in the athletes’ achievements, quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sentiment that “there are no losers in sport, only winners and learners.” She extended her congratulations and wished them continued success.

Prime Minister Modi also reached out to Sarabjot, praising his performance and inquiring about the strong teamwork between him and Manu. Modi conveyed his congratulations, stating, “Many congratulations to you. You have made India proud. Your efforts have paid off. Extend my wishes to Manu as well. You both showed brilliant teamwork. What is the reason behind it?”
