Videos from the concert show Diljit addressing the audience in Punjabi, stating, “Here we don’t have infrastructure for live shows. This is a source of big revenue; many people get work and are able to work here… I’ll try next time that the stage is at the center so that you can be around it. Till this happens, I won’t do shows in India, that’s for sure.”

Diljit created memorable moments for his fans during the Chandigarh show

Despite his frustrations, Diljit created memorable moments for his fans during the Chandigarh show. He expressed his emotions about performing on his home ground and dedicated the concert to the newly crowned International Chess Federation (FIDE) World Champion, Gukesh Dommaraju.

A highlight of the evening was when Diljit paid homage to Allu Arjun’s film “Pushpa” by recreating an iconic dialogue from the movie. Although he admitted he had not yet watched “Pushpa 2,” he enthusiastically performed the famous line, “Jhukega nahi,” saying, “If the saala doesn’t bow, why would the jija do that? Have as much fun as you’ll want; this will be your best night.”

Diljit’s comments have sparked discussions about the need for better facilities and support for live performances in India, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure in the entertainment industry.
