The mandate in favour of the BJP, in Haryana has instilled excitement and hope in the Bharatiya Janta Party. This victory has significantly strengthened Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, enabling him to make decisions more decisively and instruct his ministers effectively. The triumph has revitalized BJP workers, giving fresh momentum to the previously sluggish membership campaign. The success in Haryana has restored the BJP’s position to where it was six months ago, countering the opposition’s narrative that the party’s rule was coming to an end due to its inability to secure a majority in the Lok Sabha elections. The opposition had been aggressive regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity, leading to a sense of disappointment among party workers.
This victory in Haryana has dealt a significant blow to the opposition, particularly the Congress, leaving them in a difficult position. The win was crucial for Rajasthan, where the state BJP was facing declining support. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had been struggling to receive adequate backing from both ministers and party leaders, while the opposition had become increasingly aggressive due to internal conflicts among leaders. Smaller parties had begun issuing threats, contributing to a growing sense of uncertainty. The allegations and contentious statements directed at ministers were causing challenges for the Chief Minister, and the overall condition of the party organization mirrored this turmoil.
Now there is hope of achieving the target of membership campaign
Here, despite all the efforts of the new state president Madan Rathore, due to the lack of interest among the workers regarding the membership campaign, the party was sweating to achieve the target of 1.25 crore. In such a situation, it is now expected that the new enthusiasm among the excited workers can now achieve the target. After the victory in Haryana, the situation in Rajasthan BJP will change. Minister Kirori Lal Meena, who has resigned, will now avoid raising questions on his government. Difficulties may also increase for Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa. Although the party is calling the allegations against them false and calling it a conspiracy of the opposition, the high command believes in conducting an investigation in its own way and taking a decision.
Congress will face difficulties in the by-elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party, which lost 11 seats in the Lok Sabha, will not let the Congress win easily in the upcoming by-elections. By-elections are to be held on 7 seats in Rajasthan. BJP had only one seat out of these. The remaining 6 are with the opposition. Before the election results of Haryana came out, it was being understood that the by-elections would not be easy for the BJP, but after the way the Sangh has increased its activism, the difficulties of the Congress are sure to increase. In Haryana, it was the Sangh that turned a lost game into a win. Congress could not sense anything. Let us tell you that by-elections are to be held soon on Chaurasi, Khinvsar, Salumbhar, Deoli-Uniyara, Dausa, Ramgarh and Jhunjhunu seats.
