Handwriting samples required with exam attendance to prevent fraudulent candidates

The preparations for the Assistant Professor, Librarian and PTI Examination-2023 to be conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for 27 different subjects in the upcoming May-June are being finalized. This examination will run from May 16 to June 2. The Commission Secretary said that to prevent any possibility of proper conduct of these examinations and dummy candidates sitting, the handwriting sample of the candidates from this examination will also be taken on the attendance sheet by the commission. Similarly, a clear and large photo of the candidate will be printed on the attendance sheet so that the identity of the candidate can be fully ensured by the invigilators at the examination center and dummy candidates can be stopped.

In fact, the attendance sheet is also attached with the admit card by the commission. This sheet is separated from the admit card by the invigilator at the examination center after identifying the candidate and getting the signatures of the center superintendent and the candidate and deposited at the center. After the completion of the examination, this attendance sheet is sent to the Commission along with the examination material. The candidate will have to write a sentence in the presence of the inspector at the place given at the bottom of the attendance sheet. After this, the candidate will confirm the sentence written by himself by signing.

The Commission has also taken various necessary steps regarding the security of question papers. Regarding other security measures and smooth conduct of the examination, discussions will also be held on 9 May 2024 with Additional Director General, Police, SOG and ATS, Jaipur, District Collector, Ajmer and Jaipur, Police Commissioner Jaipur, Superintendent of Police Ajmer, Additional District Collector and Examination Coordinator Ajmer and Jaipur, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Exam Incharge) Police Commissionerate Jaipur, Additional Superintendent of Police and Police Nodal Officer Ajmer, Joint Director School Education Ajmer and Jaipur and District Education Officer (Headquarters) Ajmer and Jaipur through video conferencing.

Commission’s Chief Examination Controller Ashutosh Gupta said that under the said examination, examinations for a total of 2033 posts of 27 subjects will be conducted as per the schedule at Ajmer and Jaipur district headquarters. 1 lakh 82 thousand 257 candidates have been registered for the examination.
