2024 To Begin With 5 New Car Launches in January:

The SUV has been spied testing for a while and what’s evident from these shots are its new headlamps and tail lamps as well as revised bumpers.

It’s a brand-new year but one thing that will not change is the number of new car launches, especially in the opening month. Yes,like every year, the month of January is looking good when it comes to new models hitting the Indian roads and as expected SUVs dominate the list. The includes everything from a compact SUV to an ultra-luxuriouselectric coupe. Let’s tell you about 5 new cars set to be launched in India in the next few weeks.

Mahindra XUV 300 facelift
The much-awaited facelift of the XUV300 is also likely to hit the roads this month. The SUV has been spied testing for a while and what’s evident from these shots are its new headlamps and tail lamps as well as revised bumpers. Inside the new XUV300 could get a redesigned dashboard and a large free-standing central touchscreen while engine options may remain unchanged.

Mercedes-Benz GLS
The first launch of 2024 will be from the house of German Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz. On January 8th, a facelift of the flagship SUV from the brand, the GLS will hit the Indian roads. The car is expected to get minor styling tweaks as well as new mild-hybrid engines. While the grille and bumper are new on the face, the alloy wheel design too has changed in addition to the tail lamps. In the cabin, you get the updated MBUX system along with new upholstery colours.

Rolls-Royce Spectre
While deliveries of the first electric car from Rolls-Royce, the Spectre have already started in India, the coupe will officially be launched in the market this month. According to the brand, the Spectre will be positioned between its SUV, the Cullinan and the flagship Phantom saloon. There will be a lot of bespoke options as is expected from a Rolls-Royce along with a range of 520 kms on a single charge. The Spectre could be priced upwards of Rs. 8 crore, ex-showroom.

Hyundai Creta facelift
The teaser images of the Creta facelift are already out and reveal a changed face along with a feature-rich and tech-laden interior. The new Creta like earlier will come with both Petrol and Diesel engines including a new 1.5 turbo Petrol. You will get to choose from as many as 7 variants and an equal number of colour options. The SUV is also expected to be offered with Level 2 ADAS functions.It is set to be launched on the 16th of January and bookings have already begun at a token amount of Rs. 25,000.

Kia Sonet Facelift
Another car that’s coming early in 2024 and with ADAS tech is the Kia Sonet facelift. Here too you get many new design elements like an updated grille and fresh alloys whileinside new features include a full digital cluster and an electric driver seat. The Diesel manual variant of the SUV also makes a comeback with this facelift which was revealed in December 2023.Bookings have already begun at a token amount of Rs. 25,000.
