On Tuesday, Union Ministers Anurag Thakur and Dharmendra Pradhan presented floral tributes to poet Upendra Bhanja and writer Fakir Mohan Senapati.
To pay homage, the two Union Ministers arrived on the campus of Utkal University.
Anurag was spotted wearing a golden shawl, a pink Nehru jacket, and a white kurta. Dharmendra, on the other hand, sported a white kurta with a crimson and cream shawl.
Utkala Byasa Kabi, another name for Fakir Mohan Senapati, was an Indian author. The father of contemporary Odia literature and Odia nationalism is largely regarded as being Senapati.
His four works, which he wrote between 1897 and 1915, depict the social and cultural conditions in Odisha in the 18th and 19th centuries. While “Chha Maana Atha Guntha,” “Mamu,” and “Prayaschita,” are three books that investigate the truth of social life in all of its parts.
