Cooperative Bank elections: 107 representatives elected unopposed

In a historic turn of events, the Kota Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Limited witnessed the election of 107 ward representatives for the Common Body, who were all elected unopposed. On Tuesday, the candidates were officially declared uncontested, and certificates were handed over to them.
Election Officer Balvinder Singh Gill stated that all wards received single applications, and as the nomination withdrawal period ended at 2 PM on Tuesday, the candidates were declared uncontested.
The certificates were presented by the Chairman Rajesh Krishna Birla, Consumer Wholesale Warehouse Chairman Harikrishna Birla, Election Officer Balvinder Singh Gill, Consumer Warehouse General Manager Beena Bairwa, and the MD of the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank, Bijendra Kumar Sharma, at the Maheshwari Bhawan.
Yesterday, during the event, Chairman Rajesh Krishna Birla remarked that the members have endorsed our 8-year-long work through this uncontested election. The public has placed their trust and confidence in the bank. This, in turn, increases our responsibility. Birla added that they would now create new plans and continue to work for the development and welfare of the members. New schemes will be introduced and promoted to benefit as many people as possible.
