Congress to expand and strengthen workforce under Dotasra’s guidance

The State Congress Committee is all set for expansion following the elections. Congress spokesperson Swarnim Chaturvedi shared that, under the leadership of PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, the party has urged all booth-level workers to unite and strengthen the organisational framework. He emphasised that the PCC is maintaining direct communication with workers at every level, from top leaders to frontline volunteers, ensuring constant feedback on their assigned tasks and responsibilities. The party is gearing up for a major expansion, focusing on building a more efficient and dynamic workforce. As part of this strategic move, individuals who have not contributed effectively will be shown the door, making way for fresh, motivated leadership. The emphasis is on progress and productivity, ensuring that only those who are dedicated to the party’s growth and success remain. With this renewed focus, Congress is ready to strengthen its organisational structure and take a more aggressive approach to its future expansion.
The Congress plans to fill 30 new posts across districts, increasing the total from 70 to 100, in a bid to strengthen its internal organisational framework. This move aims to ensure more effective implementation of the party’s strategies and vision. Reflecting on the party’s success in the general elections, he highlighted that the victory wasn’t just due to meticulous planning and execution, but also the dedication of senior party workers, who were always available around the clock. He attributed this victory to the leadership of senior party figures and Rahul Gandhi, who maintained constant communication with grassroots workers at the booth level. Rahul Gandhi’s surprise visits to the Congress War Room further energised the team, offering support and rejuvenating the party’s spirit.
Chaturvedi said that the party has become serious about not only giving the right platform and place to the active workers but also expel the workers who have not been able to participate actively in the party. He further added that the party plans to give strength to right from booth.
The PCC Chief says for all 2,200 mandal committees and 400 block committees will have meetings either once a month or twice a month and a review will be done to see the progress and the contribution of workers.
He informed that Congress is committed to the cause of social welfare and shall raise its voice as it should like a healthy opposition so that the ruling party can understand its pitfalls and lacunas. He said that senior leadership is certain and has asked for a report of the members from all blocks and mandals on the basis of their performance. All those who are not performing shall not be part of the active workforce. Congress is poised for significant growth, with plans to streamline its ranks by parting ways with underperforming members.
He stated that all the key leaders within the Congress are working with a forward-thinking approach to position the party as a leading force in the political landscape. He further expressed confidence in the party’s upcoming success, not only in the byelections in Rajasthan but also in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

He also voiced his disappointment with the current functioning of the BJP government, criticising the party’s recent decisions, including the decision to discontinue the welfare schemes that had been introduced for the state’s development and progress. He emphasised that Congress would continue to raise its voice against these actions and work in unison, ensuring the cohesion of all party members.
