Political turmoil has begun in Mandalgarh regarding the upcoming legislative assembly elections, with the state’s Congress government becoming the target of the BJP.
Regarding the assembly elections in Mandalgarh, Election-in-Charge Madhav Choudhary and Gujarat’s Central MLA Pravasi Devesh Bhai Patel, while addressing the media, alleged that the Congress government in the state has failed on every front, and there is unrest among the public. Targeting the Gehlot government, Election-In-Charge Madhav Choudhary stated that the Gehlot government has proven ineffective in development over the past four years. Meanwhile, in the election year, false promises are being made to deceive the public. During a press conference, BJP MLA Gopal Khandelwal stated that the government has not waived farmers’ loans as promised in the election manifesto. He also said that due to the current phase of inadequate rainfall, farmers are facing an electricity crisis for crop irrigation.
Legislator Khandelwal accused the government of forcibly merging 21-gram panchayats of the Mandalgarh assembly constituency into the new Shahpura district, which has led to protests by the people of the Mandalgarh region. He said that this decision has resulted in significant public anger. The people of the Mandalgarh region will give a resounding answer to the Congress government in the upcoming elections.
