CM signs 507 MoUs at Rising Rajasthan Pre-Summit

The state’s education system will now be hi-tech and digital. The path from smart classrooms to opening of world-class schools and colleges has now been paved in Rajasthan. On Wednesday, Rising Rajasthan Pre-Summit was organised in a hotel in the capital, on education. During the summit, 507 MoUs were signed in Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s presence, attracting an investment of Rs 28,000 crores. In this conference organised under the joint aegis of Higher Education, School Education, Sanskrit Education, Technical Education, Skill and Entrepreneurship Department and Sports and Youth Affairs, philanthropists, donors and stakeholders of the education sector appeared under one roof. Along with discussing the future development of education, they also deliberated on innovations.
During this, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said, “Education is the main basis of development. Even a small investment made in education brings a big impact. He said that 507 MoUs worth Rs 28 thousand crores have been done in the pre-summit, which will open new paths of development in education, technology, higher education, skill development and sports. There are immense possibilities in every field in Rajasthan. We had limited time for preparation, but with everyone’s cooperation, we will be able to implement these MoUs successfully.” He said that MoUs have been signed not only for education but in the field of tourism, mining, medicine, energy. This Rising Rajasthan Summit will give strength to developed Rajasthan. He said that the state government has so far signed MoUs worth Rs 18 lakh crores. The advantage of having MoUs in the first year of the government will be that they can be implemented on time and he believes that small MoUs are implemented quickly. The Chief Minister said that his aim is not to count the figures but to benefit Rajasthan and the people of the state.
The Chief Minister said that a survey is being conducted by an agency to find out what is required in the coming times. There is also a need to conduct a survey of other countries to find out what is required there, so that the youth can get an opportunity. Recently, during his visit to Japan, an MoU was signed to provide employment to 15 thousand youth in the nursing sector. Similarly, Germany has demanded one lakh youth, but they have been asked to first give 20 thousand youth and organise exams by creating an education hub here according to their educational standards. Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that many people have promised to cooperate in the field of education, MoUs have also been signed for that. Rajasthan is a state full of diversity, but there is a need that the people born on this land who are prosperous, should cooperate with the people and students of Rajasthan. He said that the department has set many world records in just one year. Surya Namaskar was performed in schools keeping in mind the health of the students and it also created a world record. Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa was also present at the summit. He said that Congress signed MOUs under Rising Rajasthan in the last year. The BJP government has invited investors in the first year itself, so that the MOUs can be implemented. Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that education should not be for degrees, but for life. Khelo Rajasthan could not have been organised without joining hands with the education department. Talking about flexibility in the National Education Policy, he also talked about signing MOUs with universities to innovate sports academies in Rajasthan and increasing employment by eliminating red tape in Rajasthan.
