An Indian YouTuber, Passenger Paramvir, recently won over the internet with his humorous and calm response to a Chinese woman’s criticism of Indian food. In the viral video, Paramvir, an Indian vlogger, is seen engaging in a friendly discussion with the woman, who questions the hygiene of Indian street food based on a series of online videos.

The Discussion Begins

Paramvir begins by expressing his own disapproval of Chinese food and insists that Indian food is much better. In response, the woman opens her phone to show him videos that depict Indian street food in a negative light. Some clips reveal unusual practices, like a man shaping dough with his armpits, another grinding tomatoes with his feet, and one where food is served directly in a person’s hands. While Paramvir laughs at the videos, he reassures her that such scenes are rare.

“Trust me, you won’t see any of this on the streets. I don’t know where they find these videos,” he says, adding that “if you go to a good, hygienic place, you’ll love the food.” The woman, however, counters by asking him what authority he has to criticize Chinese cuisine, saying, “The videos I’ve seen show that Indian food is very dirty.”

A Change of Heart

In an effort to show the real taste of Indian food, Paramvir takes her to a local Indian restaurant. They share a meal of dal makhni, shahi paneer, and naan. Before the video ends, the woman is seen savoring the meal, smiling, and exclaiming, “Yummy!”

Social Media’s Reaction

The video quickly gained nearly 1 million views on X, with viewers praising Paramvir for handling the situation with humor and positivity. One user commented, “He changed her whole perspective towards India.” Another said, “India definitely needs better PR! Glad the YouTuber introduced her to authentic Indian food.”

Paramvir’s light-hearted approach not only diffused the tension but also helped showcase Indian cuisine in a positive, welcoming light.
