Chandu Champion, the latest offering from Bollywood directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, has shown promising performance at the Indian box office over its opening weekend.

According to Sacnilk.com, the film has garnered approximately ₹11.5 crore nett in its first two days of release. After earning ₹4.75 crore on its opening day, Chandu Champion saw a rise in collections, bringing in ₹6.75 crore on its second day. The film’s success can be attributed to strong word-of-mouth and positive audience reception, evident from its 21.27 percent Hindi occupancy on Saturday.

Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role as Chandu, depicts the inspiring journey of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming. Kartik Aaryan portrays Chandu across various stages of his life, from an Indian Army soldier to a wrestler, boxer, war veteran, and ultimately, a swimmer.

The film’s premiere in Mumbai was a star-studded event, graced by celebrities including Vidya Balan, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and others.
