As a makeup enthusiast, I always prefer products that not only enhance my features but also feel like a treat to use. And well, I am a total blush girlie! Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez has been on my radar for a while, and I finally got my hands on their products which are now exclusively available on Sephora in India.
I started with Rare Beauty’s classic blushes and here’s my personal take on these beauties.
The Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush in ‘Love’ was the first one I tried. The warm terracotta hue instantly reminded me of those cozy autumn days. The pigmentation was a pleasant surprise – just a little dab was enough to give my cheeks a deep red flush. I wore it for a night out, and it stayed put and glowed through the entire evening, saving me from any touch-ups.
Next, I tried the Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush in ‘Truth’. This pretty pink shade was perfect for my everyday makeup look. It blended so smoothly into my skin, giving me a radiant shine and finish that lasted all day. I received several compliments, for how healthy my skin looks and that I am glowing – but guess what – this rare flushy glow was courtesy Rare Beauty!
The Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush in ‘Hope’ was the perfect everyday choice for me. The silky shiny nude color was totally in my comfort zone and I decided to give it a go for work. It added a fun pop of shine to my look and stayed vibrant throughout the hot and sweaty Delhi days!
The Soft Pinch Liquid Blushes in ‘Hope’ and ‘Love’ were a new experience for me. I was initially skeptical about the liquid thick formula, but it turned out to be a game-changer. The lightweight texture blended like a dream, giving me a dewy, natural finish. ‘Hope’ was a dewy nude mauve berry-shade that added a warm nudy touch to my look, while ‘Love’ was a warm, matte red-terracotta that felt like a liquid version of the powder blush I fell in love with. I loved how Love added a touch of bronzed drama and made my cheeks all poppy and elevated.
The colors, the formulas, and the longevity of these blushes have made them a staple in my makeup routine. While I don’t mind the beautiful, natural glow these blushes add to my looks, I can’t wait to try more products from this brand!
