Blockbuster Clash Ahead: Singham Again And Stree 2 Release Date Shake-Up!

The second half of 2024 brings many changes to Bollywood movie release dates. Some popular sequels, like Singham Again and Stree 2, have new dates. These changes affect big holidays like Independence Day and Diwali.

Independence Day Clash

Three big movies were set to release on August 15:

1. ‘Vedaa’- An action drama by Nikkhil Advani, starring John Abraham.
2. ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ – A Telugu action drama by Sukumar, featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil.
3. ‘Singham Again’ – A cop drama by Rohit Shetty, with Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and others.

Recently, another movie joined the Independence Day list:
4. “Khel Khel Mein” – A buddy comedy by Mudassar Aziz, starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan.

There are rumors that “Pushpa: The Rule” might be delayed, but there is no official confirmation yet. Ajay Devgn confirmed that “Singham Again” needs more time and will not be ready for August 15. Rohit Shetty later announced that “Singham Again” will now release on Diwali instead.

Diwali Clash

Singham Again” will now clash with another big sequel on Diwali:

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 – A horror comedy by Anees Bazmee, starring Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. Triptii Dimri will replace Kiara Advani as the leading lady. Madhuri Dixit is rumored to join, possibly having a dance-off with Vidya’s character. Rajpal Yadav will return in his role from the previous movies.
