Applause Entertainment is set to come up with web series ‘Trail of an Assassin’ on Rajiv Gandhi

A web series based on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi is going to come and Applause Entertainment is going to bring.

Meanwhile, using inputs from Anirudhya Mitra’s book ‘Ninety Days: The True Story of the Hunt for Rajiv Gandhi’s Assassin’ the series ‘Trail of an Assassin’ will be made.

Moreover, the web series will be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

Notably, on 21 May 1991, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by an LTTE suicide bomber in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. Along with Gandhi, 16 others died in the bomb blast.
