Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and several others have been remanded to judicial custody until July 4 in connection with an alleged murder case.
The Bengaluru Economic Offences Special Court issued this directive. The victim, identified as Renukaswamy (33) from Chitradurga, was found deceased in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, on June 9.
Actor Darshan and the other accused were transferred from the Sessions Court to Central Jail following the court’s decision. The case has been filed at Kamakshipalya police station. Further details are awaited.
