On Monday afternoon at 12:00 PM, as per his scheduled program, Central Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived at the sacred Samadhi site of Baba Ramdev, revered by the masses. Upon reaching Ramdevra, he paid his respects by offering a velvet shawl, cashews, almonds, walnuts, and mishri (crystallized sugar) as Prasad and extended his best wishes for the prosperity of the nation. He performed special prayers and rituals for the well-being of the country.
Rajnath Singh especially participated in the worship and prayer ceremonies, and with due reverence, he was facilitated by the temple’s administrators and co-priests, Kamal Chhagani and Kapil Changani.
Upon his arrival at Ramdevra, he was welcomed by the Baba Ramdev Samadhi Samiti members, who adorned him with a mala (garland) and saafa (turban).
On this occasion, the defence minister also witnessed the arrangement for free meals organized by the Baba Ramdev Samadhi Samiti in their newly constructed dining hall.
He praised this commendable initiative of the Samiti. Mr. Singh expressed his gratitude for the Samiti’s efforts.
The Samadhi Samiti extended a warm welcome to him and offered their appreciation for his presence. On this occasion, various local dignitaries, including Gaddipati Rau Bhom Singh Tanwar, Sarpanch Samundar Singh Tanwar, and Municipal President Manish Purohit, along with BJP officials, welcomed him with enthusiasm.
