I remember when I began to notice the phenomenon of seeing repeating numbers. This was just when I’d begun to dive into books about consciousness. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, it was right after the devastating attack on the Twin Towers. The media had begun to refer to it as “9\/11.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember wondering if it was a coincidence, that the date happened to match the emergency number, 911. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little voice inside me interrupted my thoughts. It said, “there’s no such thing as coincidence.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then began to see the number everywhere. During a holiday, I’d randomly wake up and check the time. It would be 9:11 on the dot. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, on my walks, I would hear someone randomly use the number 911, in passing. It was never about the emergency number, or about the terrorist attack.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d slide a CD into my disc player, and happen to look at the display. It would read “Track 9 of 11.” <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d see billboards, with the same number. It was literally everywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then it became other variations, such as 119 and 191. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phone numbers. My new bank account. My new debit card. Random car license plates. Random songs on the radio. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon, other numbers began to show up too. The one that stuck with me the most is 11:11<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point, I realized I had stumbled on something. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was either something profound, like some Higher Power trying to contact me, or I was going crazy.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a while, I thought I went with the second option, and was freaking out big time. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Till I decided to research this phenomenon.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I found out I was not alone! Good news! So maybe I’m not crazy after all.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s Only Your Reticular Activating System”<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I tried to talk to family and friends about this. No one could relate. They all told me I was <\/span>overthinking<\/span><\/a> things. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember cousin Deb saying, “I think you’re dabbling into things you really have no business with.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But she didn’t understand – I didn’t go looking for these numbers. They came for me! <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something was trying to get my attention. But what? And why? I wanted answers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I spoke to others on the net. More often than not, I’d run into that one person who snobbishly says, “It’s only your reticular activating system.” <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first time I was told that, I went Googling.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reticular Activating System (RAS) is in the brain stem. It’s a bunch of nerves which acts like a filter, sorting through all the unnecessary information we’re bombarded with daily, so only the stuff that matters to us can get through.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Say you think about buying a red car. Soon, you begin to notice so many red cars all around you. That’s the power of the RAS.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is That All There Is To Seeing Repeating Numbers?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I can tell you, without a doubt, no.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Why Do I Keep Seeing Repeating Numbers?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like you, I asked myself this a lot, in the beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, I’ve come to realize something: these numbers are basically how your Higher Self or spirit guide or the universe or whatever you want to call it, reaches out to you.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m not particular about the terminology, because I don’t want to force you into a box. Some people call these numbers angel numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you pay attention to the context in which these numbers show up, you’ll be able to pinpoint exactly what it is your Higher Self or spirit guide is trying to draw your attention to.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing Numbers Means You’re in Alignment with The Universe<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On a general note, when you keep seeing repeating numbers, it also means you’re in alignment with the Universe! <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I like to look at these repeating numbers as gentle reminders from my Higher Self that I am on the right path, and I’m never alone. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These numbers are one way in which synchronicity makes itself obvious to us.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s the thing: everything in life is synchronicity. It’s one big, beautiful dance. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, since for most people, a lot of synchronicity goes over their heads, numbers are a great way for the Universe or your Higher Self to draw your attention to this.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does being in alignment mean? <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It means you’re in the right place, at the right time. It means no matter what’s happening, no matter what it looks like, you’re not alone. It means in the end, things always work out.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people think when they’re out of alignment, is when things aren’t working out. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the truth is you’re never not in alignment. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s simply that in the moment, you’re letting whatever you’re facing dictate the way you see things.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So you’re seeing things as “bad” or “negative.” <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These numbers are gentle nudges from the Universe, letting you know there’s a perfect plan, and you’re doing just fine. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though it seems like you aren’t right now.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do These Numbers Have Any Meaning?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every number is unique, and has it’s very own frequency. For instance, in my case, I began with seeing the numbers 9 and 11 together. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9, among many other meanings, happens to signify an ending or the completion of something. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number 11 signifies a gateway. To what? A new beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a gateway that lets you peek beyond the veils of reality to what really IS.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As when I began seeing 911, I couldn’t help but notice a couple of things. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing was, life as I knew it was changing, on so many levels. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things that I had become used to, were ending in my life. I had just graduated from college.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had also begun to explore consciousness. I had my very first deliberate Out-of-Body-<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience, which led me to see that there is so much more to life than I had ever thought. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was experiencing a lot of synchronistic events that utterly blew me away. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other words, there were a lot of endings for me (9), and I had stepped into a whole new world, in terms of consciousness (11).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing Them As Warnings Or Encouragement<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are also times in my life when I will get a sudden wave of certain numbers. I mean, like an onslaught of them. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without fail, when these numbers spring up like this, it means something great is about to happen. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes it’s a warning. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other times it’s more like my Higher Self cheering me on.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I’m feeling a bit out of sorts, or in need of guidance, or some reassurance, I reach out to my Higher Self. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In these times, I’ve found I see a lot of 1111, 333, even 1234<\/a>, and a few other repeating numbers.<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like I already mentioned, each number has its own unique frequency. This means it has its own inherent meaning. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, you need to keep in mind that all the stuff you see on the internet are simply guides, and nothing more. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do I say this?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, each number has a different story, a different message for each person, and depending on the situation. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, it all comes down to you, and the way you interpret it.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meaning of the numbers would also depend on the context. It would depend on what’s going on in your life in general. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Do I Figure Out The Meaning Of Repeating Numbers To Me?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So you want to know the meaning of the repeating numbers you keep seeing. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s natural. Here’s what I recommend, to start with.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1.<\/strong> When you see a repeating number, I want you to pause, and ask yourself a couple of questions:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was I thinking just now?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How am I feeling right now?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you ask yourself these questions, you can get a good clue about what your Higher Self may be trying to communicate to you. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember how I said everything is synchronicity? <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those numbers showing up as you were thinking a thought, or feeling something, is also synchronicity.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2.<\/strong> Now you’ve identified the thought or feeling the number was about, you need to get still. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do I mean? Just shut your eyes. Take in several deep, luxurious breaths.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, with your eyes still shut, move your attention to your heart area (your heart chakra).<\/a> You don’t have to visualize it. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just feel the area by placing your attention there.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever messages your guide is trying to get across to you, will be clearer when you listen with your heart.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It might sound like a cheesy line from a song, but it IS true.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3.<\/strong> When you listen with your heart, you’ll find your answer will most likely be a feeling. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than just a feeling, it’s like a knowing. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can’t quite describe it, because it’s best experienced. So do this exercise, when you notice a repeating number.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, if you’re really sensitive<\/a> and have had some practice with contacting your Higher Self, or channeling, you might get an actually message in words.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You might also have a vision. It’s not necessarily like how movies make it out to be. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An image or a series of images might flash across your mind. You’ll know what it means, and if you don’t, then move on to the next step.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#4.<\/strong> Be thankful. I have a simple phrase I use, when I get a repeating number, but don’t get what it means. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I say, “Thank you, for all will be clear to me in time.” <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without fail, I get to see and understand what the number implies. Sometimes something happens, that day, or some other day.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other times, I see what it means clearly in a dream. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just trust that your Higher Self will make things clear to you, in a way you’d totally relate with.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#5.<\/strong> Having trouble with this whole “listen to your Higher Self” business? Don’t worry about that much. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recommend mindful meditations, to increase your sensitivity to these messages.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, you could read other people’s experiences or interpretations of these angel numbers. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, you’ll be able to see a pattern. Then you’ll be able to tell which meanings apply to you, and which don’t.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re sure signs your Higher Self<\/a> is with you, looking out for you. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, they are signs of so much more magic to come!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I began to see the synchronicity in numbers, the phenomena began to happen in other ways as well. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I began to have mind-blowing coincidences (there’s no such thing as a “coincidence,” by the way.)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I began to have more lucid dreams and astral projections that have shown me a lot about how reality and manifestation work<\/a>!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have had major changes in my life. People dropping out, and new ones coming in. Old energy giving way for the new. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot of stuff I indulged in just naturally fell away, and I found myself truly living with passion, for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So brace yourself! There’s going to be a lot of change. Some of it will seem “bad” on the surface, but trust me when I say it always works out.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
