style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The title &lsquo;empath&rsquo; originates from the root word &lsquo;<em>empathy<\/em>&rsquo; which can be defined as the ability to feel and understand the experience of another.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Therefore, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">an empath is someone with a heightened natural ability to deeply empathize<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Some empaths feel others constantly and unconsciously and others are conscious of their gift and have the ability to deliberately tune in at will or at least identify where the emotions that they experience emanate from.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper\"><span
