Avoid bright, over-stimulating colors and instead opt for more muted tones.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Make sure to pick colors which bring you joy. Many people find blue to be a relaxing color, but this is not always the case.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I personally find blue to be quite a cold and depressing color, so I avoid the excessive use of blue within my home.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I really enjoy yellow, so for me soft creams and muted mustard tones are perfect for my <em>relaxation space<\/em>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>Experiment with what works for you.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Once you have sorted out the visuals of your space, you next want to consider the other senses. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Firstly, let&rsquo;s think about touch.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If your chosen chair, sofa, or bed, has worn springs, or feels as hard as a church pew, then it is no wonder you can&rsquo;t relax.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The same goes for texture. I find spaces that are homely and lived in to be much more inspiring.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As I mentioned, my favorite color is yellow, so I try to add elements of this color to my spaces to bring me joy and inspiration. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In cases of rented spaces, there can be furniture or design choices which can make your space uninspiring to you.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Luckily, there are lots of canny ways that you can cover these signs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A large blanket thrown over an ugly sofa for example, can help shield the unsightly piece of furniture from your view, and has the added benefit of making the seat more comfortable, whereas <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ugly marks of fixtures on the wall can be nicely covered with a wall hanging<\/span> of your choice. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"p3 eplus-wrapper wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Insomnia_and_Struggling_to_Sleep_in_your_Space\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">5.
