The production of the third season of ‘Euphoria,’ starring Zendaya, has faced another delay, with shooting postponed as creator Sam Levinson continues to work on scripts. The cast has been advised to pursue other acting opportunities during this hiatus. HBO stated, “HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”

While there was no firm production start date for Season 3, filming was expected to commence in the next few months. HBO had previously confirmed in November 2023 that the third season was set to premiere in 2025, resulting in a gap of at least three years between seasons, as Season 2 premiered in January 2022.

‘Euphoria’ features a cast of notable actors, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Colman Domingo, who recently received an Oscar nomination. Storm Reid also won an Emmy earlier for her role in *The Last Of Us*. Zendaya has won two Emmys for her portrayal of Rue in the series.

The series is set in the fictional town of East Highland, California, and follows the lives of teenagers navigating love, loss, and addiction. It is based on the Israeli show of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.
