Watch: Protesters Burn US Flags and Clash with Police During Netanyahu’s Washington Visit

Anti-Palestine protesters in Washington, DC, replaced American flags outside Union Station with Palestinian flags on Wednesday in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit. The US Park Police reported that two of the flags were burned, and the demonstration led to road closures around Capitol Hill and Union Station.

Protesters also burned an effigy of Netanyahu and demanded an end to US military aid to Israel. Videos showed protesters chanting “Free Palestine” as they burned flags and the effigy, dyed fountains red, and projected messages onto buildings calling for Netanyahu’s arrest as a war criminal.

Additionally, viral social media videos claimed that maggots were released on Netanyahu’s table at the Watergate Hotel and fire alarms were triggered to disturb him before his address to Congress.

Netanyahu’s speech aimed to bolster US support for Israel against Hamas and other militant groups, but it faced boycotts from some Democrats and attracted large protests. Protesters in Washington DC are now BURNING an effigy of Benjamin Netanyahu!

Protesters have broken into Netanyahu’s hotel and covered it with maggots and other bugs This is a far nicer welcome than he deservess

Additionally anti-Israel protestors have dyed the U.S. Capitol fountain red. This will have zero impact on PM Netanyahu and only effect the maintenance crew and taxpayers who will have to pay and work to clean the foundation.
