A Frontier Airlines flight arriving from San Diego encountered a serious incident on Saturday when flames and thick smoke were spotted emanating from the plane’s undercarriage during its landing at Harry Reid International Airport.
Emergency Response Initiated
According to CBS News, the alarming event took place as Flight 1326 was touching down, prompting an immediate response from emergency services. Fortunately, all 190 passengers and seven crew members were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.

Details of the Incident
Airport officials indicated that the aircraft experienced a “hard landing,” which triggered the activation of emergency services, including the Clark County Fire Department. Frontier Airlines confirmed that the pilots noticed smoke as the plane landed and promptly declared an emergency. “The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers and crew were evacuated via airstairs,” stated a spokesperson for the airline. After the evacuation, passengers were transported to the terminal by bus.

The flight departed from San Diego at 1:51 PM Pacific Time and successfully landed in Las Vegas at 3:37 PM.
