Instead, she skipped the highly anticipated game, keeping her streak of avoiding away-game appearances intact this season.
Swift has been choosy about where she appears publicly. One source close to her camp said earlier that she avoids venues unless security teams have deeply vetted the location. With holiday travel chaos, a packed NFL schedule and a televised halftime show drawing added attention, she steered clear.
Even while staying behind the scenes, she’s been keeping tabs on the Chiefs. During an appearance on TV over the weekend, she quipped that her “mind was on game day,” even as her relationship with Travis Kelce continues to dominate headlines.
Reports indicated that Swift flew from Nashville to Kansas City earlier in the week to invite Kelce's family to join her for Thanksgiving dinner in person. Following the visit, the group is presumed to have headed back to Nashville to celebrate

While many wondered if Swift might deliver a surprise appearance, the halftime spotlight belonged to Post Malone. The Texas native headlined the annual Red Kettle Kickoff, a tradition tied to the Cowboys' long-running partnership with The Salvation Army.
