Congress has just taken a major step toward transparency in the Jeffrey Epstein case by directing the US Justice Department to release its investigation records. The House of Representatives approved the order with a vote of 427–1 and the Senate cleared it quickly via unanimous consent with no debate or amendments.
Congress Orders Document Release
The measure was introduced in the Senate by the Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and passed because no lawmakers objected. Shortly after, President Donald Trump signed a law that required the Justice Department to publicly release information gathered during its long probe of Epstein. With time, several pieces of evidence have already been shared with the public, including material related to Epstein and longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Among those disclosures was Epstein’s personal contact book that included many well-known individuals’ names.

Epstein’s address book contained a wide array of public figures, from royals and politicians to celebrities, business magnates, employees, and allegedly victims. The following were some of the big names:

Dana Burns, Frédéric Fekkai, various staff members, associates, and several of the alleged victims.
Dozens of other names are on the flight logs of his private jets and in his personal documents, including friends, employees, and those later pulled into lawsuits involving Maxwell.

Officials made clear that appearing in Epstein’s documents does not prove involvement in criminal activity. People who worked for Epstein and knew him socially.
