Elon Musk Is Ready To Challenge TikTok
Vine was a popular video-sharing platform back in the early 2010s; it was discontinued by Twitter in 2017. The platform shot to popularity due to its creative concept. It encouraged users to produce 6-second videos that grasp viewer attention, a concept that was unique at the time. It is also credited for being ahead of its time and the blueprint for the now-popular video platform TikTok.
At present, TikTok is the undisputed leader in the vertical video sharing space. Instagram reels have gained popularity recently, but in the US, the former still prevails among the masses. Musk’s relaunch of Vine and the integration of AI directly aim for the Chinese app.
More information regarding his plans for relaunching Vine is awaited. Elon Musk is potentially challenging TikTok for the market of short-form videos. His integration of AI in the popular video-sharing platform is something that his followers are looking forward to.
