Under pressure over the handling of classified documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein, former US President Donald Trump on Friday called for the release of grand jury transcripts in the high-profile case. “Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!”

Pam Bondi Says She's Ready

Responding quickly to Trump's direction, Attorney General Pam Bondi said, “President Trump — we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts.”

This announcement came just hours after Trump lashed out at The Wall Street Journal, threatening legal action over a controversial letter it published, allegedly written by Trump to Epstein in 2003.

Trump Slams WSJ Over Alleged Epstein Letter

The Journal’s report detailed a racy birthday letter allegedly sent by Trump to Epstein for his 50th birthday. The newspaper claimed the message featured "raunchy" content and a graphic sketch.

According to the Journal, the note was part of a collection of letters that friends sent to Epstein. It reportedly included a drawing of a naked woman, with Trump’s signature just the word “Donald” scribbled “below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.”

The letter ended with: “Happy Birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has firmly denied writing this letter, branding the story as “fake.”

MAGA Supporters Express Anger

Many of Trump’s core supporters have recently shown frustration over the lack of transparency surrounding Epstein’s documents. Videos circulating online show MAGA supporters burning their red caps in protest.

Critics within Trump’s political circle have also voiced disappointment over the administration’s slow release of the alleged Epstein ‘client list.’

MAGA Base Pressures Trump Over Epstein Case

Back in February, Pam Bondi had revealed, “The list of Epstein’s clients was sitting on my desk right now to review it.”

That statement came after Trump promised during his campaign to expose those linked to Epstein’s sex trafficking network.

Epstein, a financier accused of sexually abusing young girls and running a trafficking ring for the rich and powerful, died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial in a New York jail during Trump’s first presidential term.

Americans Say Government Is Hiding the Truth

A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll showed widespread public skepticism about the government’s role in the Epstein investigation.

According to the poll, 69% of Americans believe the federal government is withholding key information about Epstein's alleged clients. Only 6% disagreed, while about 25% said they were unsure.
